Find the perfect saddle for you!

Finding the right saddle is essential if you’re going to enjoying your riding. There’s nothing worse than spending all that money on a bike, if it sits in the shed because you’re uncomfortable on the saddle.

While trial and error may work, it’s also incredibly expensive if you have to purchase a saddle only to find it’s not suitable. Asking a friend is no good either, unless their anatomy and riding style is identical to yours.

That’s where our Saddle Test Program comes in. We are an official Selle SMP Test Centre along with providing saddles from WOVE, ISM and Fizik. We also have more than 40 additional saddles to choose from. First we’ll measure your ‘sit bone’ width, as a guide to suggest ideal saddles, then you get to sit on as many as you want, to find the best one. All of this is done on the GURU DFU, to confirm your correct saddle height.

Once you’ve settled on a saddle, we’ll fit it to your bike and it’s yours to ride around on for a week, for you to confirm its suitability. If you’re not happy, you’re welcome to come back in and try some more, until you find the right one.

The cost of this service is $150, which includes a $50 discount for any saddle purchased from Peninsula Bike Fit.
